Want to know something funny about these kittens? They haven't purred, not even once. They cuddle, they snuggle, they play, they're even lap kittens, and meow for attention BUT they have never purred!
I've had kittens like that. Usually when they don't have mothers.
I had one set of feral kittens that wouldn't purr. I was sure one of the girls couldn't purr. She liked me well enough, we snuggled, but while I got the others to eventually purr she would not.
One day I was down in the kitten room and the non purring kitten snuggled up to a sibling and faux nursed AND PURRED!! I was so incensed i could only laugh and try to force myself into the situation so I could feel her purring on me.
